For those who want to live with a family in China, there are certain au pair in China requirements that students or young professionals who want to participate in this program must meet before they will be admitted.

 

First, all approved applicants must have at least finished secondary school or high school. Next, they must be a native English speaker who proficient in reading, writing and speaking English. They also must have the ability to teach English and will be required to teach 30 hours of English per week, along with childcare in many cases. You also may not have a criminal record and must be between 18 and 28 years old to participate.

 

If you meet all of these requirements and can pay the associated fees of $50 after your application is submitted, you will probably be admitted into the program without hesitation.
