Volunteer in Orphanage Program
This volunteer program gives you the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of deserving children. Additionally, you will also have the opportunity to explore one of the most modern and exciting cities in China - Shanghai. As a volunteer, you will be stationed at an orphanage that is located in a children’s hospital. Children residing in this orphanage often arrive from other orphanages in more rural areas of China to receive better medical treatment. With your commitment, love, and care you have the chance to make a difference in their recovery.
Why choose our Orphanage Volunteering Program?
- Meaningful Engagement: Through your teaching, mentorship, and care, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the lives of these resilient children. Witness their growth, build their confidence, and be a guiding light in their journey.
- Cultural Immersion: Immerse yourself in the rich tapestry of Chinese culture, traditions, and customs. Experience firsthand the warmth and hospitality of the local community as you forge lasting connections with fellow volunteers and the dedicated staff at the orphanage.
- Personal Growth: Discover your own strengths, deepen your cross-cultural understanding, and enhance your teaching skills. This volunteer experience will empower you with valuable insights, resilience, and a global perspective that will extend far beyond your time in China.

Practicing English with children and orphanage staff. As a reputable orphanage in Shanghai, the organization often receives overseas parents who would like to adopt Chinese children. Practicing English with the children and staff at the orphanage enables them to better interact with prospective adoptive parents.
